It all began with an image of a wooden acorn, and a wonderful client that really loved them.

The pedestal itself, started as a large glue-up block of solid walnut, which was turned to it’s basic shape. Then it was power-carved and hand carved to shape the cap. Then began days of sanding…
But seeing the final result made it all worth the work!
